E-commerce platform selling customised temporary tattoos, where customers can upload their own designs or get a design created and posted out to them as a temporary tattoo to trial. For all bulk and single orders.

WEBSITE REQUIREMENTS

Test My Tattoo needed a strong brand presence and high converting website that would allow customers to have confidence in the product before even using and easily checkout without needing support.

Being such a niche product, online marketing with paid ads and strong SEO was critical to the websites success.

There wasn’t a great deal of other online competition so the goal was to instantly stand out as the leading brand for temporary tattoos.

THE SOLUTION: WEB DESIGN

The design was kept bold, simplistic, modern and inline with the style of the brand. We ensured the site was as clear and concise as possible, concentrating on fast load times and ease of use whilst conveying the key information users would want to know.

As it was such new territory, for the first year of launching we made regular changes throughout the site to match customers questions, purchasing habits and requests.

THE SOLUTION: ADAPTATION

The site was originally created to only sell single pieces but after receiving so many requests for bulk orders, a separate product was setup specifically for this and ended up becoming the sites biggest seller.

Also, after seeing so many questions on speed of delivery and special delivery purchases, we added notices to the site to make it clear how quick Test My Tattoo can turnaround orders. It was small changes like these that really helped to make the website a success.

THE SOLUTION: MARKETING

In terms of marketing, a PPC campaign was run to get initial sales up and test the water on with a budget of £10 - £20 per day. This helped to gain initial traction.

The main goal was long term success though, so we ensured the site had good quality content with ongoing blog posts containing valuable and useful information to really drive forward its SEO value.

THE RESULT

The site has been a massive success, sales have far exceeded expectations and continue to rise. Natural search results became so good that the paid ads could be turned off after just 18 months.

The site receives regular orders from big brand names. Some of these have included BMW, Ocado, Team GB, RSPCA, Maxi Nutrition, Big Brother, Arsenal FC, Zambrero, Casamigos, Brew Dog and many more. This proves the effective use of brand design and the professionalism of the website that these companies trust in the site alone to purchase critical orders.
