When JG Pest Control first reached out to us over 15 years ago they were just a small company of around 5 employees.

The owner, however, had big plans and knew that getting established online was the way to grow. His plan was to rival Rentakil as the top go to pest control company to use in the UK.

The website needed to appeal to corporates and domestic companies as well as be seen by Google.

THE SOLUTION: WEB DESIGN

We took a lot of inspiration from Rentakil in terms of structure and approach, being the current industry leaders, but very much made it JG’s own. Using their strong reds and blues, bold call-to-actions, adding a variety of tools and features; such as the postcode finder, ensuring genuine photos were used of the team working and real pest pictures really gave the site an appealing edge over most pest control websites. The website rivals most other pest control websites in terms of design and as a great information hub.

THE SOLUTION: MARKETING

In order to get the site ranking it had to be heavily catered for SEO, with rich content and a page for every service to help get it seen. The real game changer for the business came when the owner decided he wanted to create a duplicate of the site for each specific county in the UK (so around 52 sub domains in total). This then meant that he could setup PPC campaigns for each site to target local searches.

THE RESULT

JG became a massive success story, growing from a one man band to being a huge 100+ staff company with offices and fleets nationwide. The PPC campaign and multiple sub domains allowed the JG site to become one of the top sites you will find when searching for any type of pest control service in the UK.
