This month we celebrate 10 years since Paspective Web Design was launched. Setup with a passion to offer affordable, high quality web design to all industries, by web designer, front-end developer and business owner, Peter Andrease.
Peter has always had a passion for design and taking on technical challenges. From creating his own comic books as a child to studying A level mathematics, he loved these types of tasks but never quite knew the exact route that could take him.
Peter went on to study a business information systems degree, which covered various aspects of IT and business, giving an array of skills, including a snippet into web design. After University, Peter got a job as a software developer, but this was short lived as he’s real passion was in design and a software development job only further confirmed this.
So he left to pursue a job as a graphic designer, a difficult job to get with no real experience at the time. After much perseverance he managed find Heybridge Publicity who were looking for a junior designer. Peter learnt a lot on the job around design skills, photoshop tricks, brochure creation and more importantly web design. This was around the same time web design was becoming more and more popular and seen as the future of marketing.
Web design was the perfect marry of Peter’s design passion along with his technical coding knowledge and he quickly picked up how to code sites from scratch whilst working as a graphic designer. He soon took over the role as lead web designer for the company, and followed this by working at a few other agencies across Essex – a web design company called Lucas Lynch, followed by an SEO marketing company – Absolute Digital Media, where he learned a lot about WordPress development, SEO and marketing tricks.
It was after 12 years of working at these different agencies that he decided to go solo and that’s where paspective was born. The company name itself being titled around the fact the work is Peter’s vision, or perspective, using his initials in place at the start – PA.
Having witnessed alot of cowboys in the industry over the 12 years, Peter set out to be different and gain trust back in web design and SEO by offering quality, high-end and trustworthy work, no matter the industry or client.
Starting out as a freelancer, work picked up quickly through word-of-mouth and he soon decided to go limited.
The contacts and connections that Peter has built up over the years due to his honest and friendly approach means he has experts he can call on for any specific job a client may need. This means paspective can offer clients the full package service – with only the highest quality people in their field working on it.
